Hubs
A networking hub is a simple device that connects multiple devices together, allowing them to communicate with each other. It operates on a shared network topology, where all devices connected to the hub share the same bandwidth. While hubs are relatively inexpensive and easy to set up, they can suffer from performance limitations, especially in high-traffic networks. As technology has advanced, hubs have largely been replaced by more efficient devices like switches. However, they still have their place in smaller, less demanding networks.
